i have a 99 ford ranger and the check engine light came on the codes are 1409 and 1451 we replaced
the o2 sensords and the egr vacuum silnoid what eles could it be

p1451= EVAP purge canister solinoid, thats different than the EVR, if p1409 still comes up, the circuit itself needs to be tested. You may have a vacuum leak, get a can of spray gumout, spray the vac lines and maniflod area, when the idle changes, youve found the leak! You want the engine running and spray on the outside but do direct the stream onto the hoses, if it is a vacuum leak, the engine idle will change speed, then you have detected a leak, repair the vacuum leak and see how it runs!
