I am having a hard time removing the thermostat housing in order to install a new thermostat. I can get to one bolt, but I can't find the other.

I am assuming, of course, that the thermostat in the plastic housing with the temperature sensors. I have found conflicting info on the internet, some saying the thermostat is where the lower radiator hose joins the engine, not the upper.

Does anyone have an exploded view, or step-by-step instruction of what I need to do and remove in order to access the thermostat housing bolts.

Thanks

Try Autozone. Put your vehicle in and look on their service guide to see exploded views.
