1998 Ford Ranger Loud roaring noise

When my truck warms up it starts to make a roaring noise that sounds like a airplane taking off and then it seems that it is wanting to stall out the RPM's drop and then go back up and it starts all over again I have changed the water pump the fan clutch the thermostat flushed the radiator flushed the block had my converters replaced and it still does the same thing but it only does it in the summer time To me it seems that it is starving for something

The rpm changes sounds like a vacuum leak or an idle air control valve problem. Are there any codes in the computer?

I've seen a fair amount of mass air flow sensors that need cleaning on these trucks.

Not sure on the roaring but you can use a stethescope to narrow down the root source of the problem. You can use a long screw driver as one by holding the handle to your ear and the tip at the housing of suspected bearings.
