1998 Ford Ranger Engine Knock

I am having issues with the engine knocking when its cold. It only lasts around 30-40 secs. I have changed the oil and used the correct oil and filter. It did this before and after the oil change. Any ideas.

yeah it sounds like you have some wear on your crankshaft main bearings. i would not worry about it unless it gets noticable louder. they can last for years like that. hope this helps
