Transmission problem
1998 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 190k miles
clutch started getting harder and harder to shift over past 2-3 months, and this week during a big freeze, the pedal has started hitting the floorboard before engaging, and now will not engage at all. less than 50k ago we replaced clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. what gives, because i will have to do this one myself for money reasons. could it be clutch hydrolics, air in it or water? i have no idea really, but i checked all fluids and they were fine. we put brake fluid in the hydrolic line resovoir.
thanks
