1997 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Automatic 110000 miles

Is this small black plastic item sitting on top of the throttle housing , the proper title. What is its' cost.

Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (2.3L)Top right side of engine, on throttle body.
Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (3.0L)Top left front of engine, on throttle body.
Throttle Position (TP) Sensor (4.0L)Top left front of engine, on throttle body.

OEM dealer part price $85 .. you will probably get cheaper at an autoparts store !
