1997 Ford Ranger radiator

1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyl 155000 miles

i noticed my heater was blowing cold air so i checked the coolant and it was rusty.i went and got a thermostat and coolant and was ready to drain the system but the drain wont drain?i have flushed the radiator in several cars and never had this problem.

Remove the radiator cap and open the drain plug-if it still don't wanna drain try unclogging it-if unable to-could be the radiator is clogged up.
