1997 Ford Ranger Heater control does not adjust heat.

Dial control which should regulate cold to hot does not. I do have cold if I swithch to max air, all other blows as if turned to full heat. Where do I begin?

check your blend door in the vents and your heater control valve.

Hey Robert your blend door might have broken loose my 97 ford ranger did the same thing and my blend door broke the tap on top of the blend broke i had to remove the dash to take out the the hearter unit to repair the blend door
