I just bough this truck, so I don't know how long this has been going on. The clutch will be working fine and then I go to push the cluth in and it feels like I'm pushing on the brake, there is a lot of resistance and it doesn't go all the way down, I also can't shift. If I let the truck sit over night, the cluch will work fine, but after about 10 mins. the same thing happens again. I've heard it might be the cluch plate, but I don't know.

If you can't depress the clutch, it could be a few things but not the clutch plate. I hate to say it but the trans needs removed so it can be checked. Check the slave cylender and my primary concern would be the pressure plate.

Let me know what you find.
