1997 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 150xxx miles

can worn clutch master cylinder be repaired by replacing rubber '0' ring or plunger or something?

THey most likely make a rebuild kit, but I wouldn't waste my time. Because the of the amount of work involved removing and replacing, I would suggest replacing it with a new one (not a remanufactured one.
