My clutch seems to stick sometimes. It seems to happen only in first gear and sometimes it is too hard to press it to the floor. The fluid level is fine. Help

When I started reading your post, I was thinking slave cylender until I got to the part where you can't push it to the floor. That makes me think of a problem with the pressure plate. When it sticks, does it stick in the released or depressed position?

Yes. When it sticks its in depressed position. I can drive it about 20 miles before it starts sticking.
