1997 Ford Ranger air bag

I have a 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0 engine. when i turn on the key the air bag light flashes 4 times pause then flashes 5 times then stays on. I am told this is code 45. I can not find out what this is or what to do to fix this.

Flashes 45 is left impact sensor not mounted to vehicle properly
use a scanner get the B codes
