1996 Ford Ranger P171 code

I have a 96 ford ranger that I had scanned because it wouldn't idle for more than a few mins with out stalling. When scanned I got the p171 code(too lean on bank #1) Had fuel pressure tested and it was only 30psi in the on postion and 32psi when running. Pulled the vacuum hose to fuel regualtor pressure when to 40 psi, determined that fuel pump was failing, replaced is now have 40psi fuel pressure but truck still won't idle. and still recieving same engine fault codes. I believe I have a vacuum leak and I've isolated it. My problem is I can't find and correct pics of my engine. Everything I find has the egr connected to the manifold where as mine is alongside the motor with a pipe leading from egr into the manifold (which is were leak is isolated) I'm trying to find out how the pipe connects to the mainfold what do I have to replace to resolve my problem.
