My ranger died out on the free way a while back and I wasnt sure why I thought it over heated but my themastat was fine so I do a radiator flush I after I get it started again and it wouldnt start at all after that. I check all my fuel lines and vaccum lines I relplaced all the vaccum lines with a new egr vaccum solinoiod along with new plugs and wire set also I did full system flush with new oils and gas it started up and ran fine but just recently it started acting up again and im not sure whats wrong. It acts like its getting staved for gas while in idle and the rpms flucuate randomly and it will stall out and while driving it sounds and feels like its being flooded out and it bogs out till it dies im not sure what it is and im looking for anykind of clue that might help me out

Check/clean or replace the MAF sensor !

Mass Airflow (MAF) Sensor
MAF sensor uses a hot wire sensing element to measure amount of air entering the engine. Air passing over the hot wire causes it to cool. The hot wire is maintained at 392 °F (200 °C) above ambient temperature, as measure by a constant cold wire. See Fig. 2.
The current required to maintain hot wire operating temperature is proportional to the intake air mass. The PCM calculates the fuel injector pulse width in order to provide the desired air/fuel ratio.
