Hi I have a 1994 ford ranger 82000mls 2.3l 4 cyl
I have a problem while driving that when I press the clutch to shift gears the engine revs up real high.
it seems to do it more after truck is warmed up but is not totally consistent as to when it does it.I think the release bearing may be bad but want your opinion before dropping a trainie. Thanks for your time.

Good thing I came here first.I found out by reading another post in the forum that it is actually the idle air control valve. Saved me time and money. Thank you for your service. 8)
