How do I get the drive shaft out of the transfer case. It seems to have a snap ring or something holding it in. I was told to take a large screwdriver or prybar and give it a good wack? LOL Thanks

Push the flanged end of the axle shafts toward the center of the vehicle and remove the C-lockwasher from the end of the axle shaft.
