I recently replaced the Hydralic Clutch in my 94 Ranger, 2.3L 4cyl. Now I am having a problem with having to refill the Clutch Fuid 1-2 times per week and also I am having to press the clutch all the way to the floor board in order to change gears. It doesn't allow me to even change gears at sometimes, I have to pump the clutch a couple times then press all the way. What is going on?

Hi there,

Check That the master cylinder is not leaking, also check that the hydraulic pipe to the slave is tight and the bleeder is tight, a close inspection of the system will show leaking fluid somewhere.

Yep, you have a clutch secondary cylinder that is probably leaking because you got a defective unit. This guide will help us fix it and I have included a video of the job being done on a similar car which the problem is the same.
