Heater problem
1993 Ford Ranger Engine Size unknown Four Wheel Drive Automatic 77000 miles

The heater is emitting vapors when the truck is running. we just replaced the heater hose from the radiator to the firewall thing. That was cracked and leaking

if you did not have the vapor before removing and replacing the hose , I would drain some antifreeze out then disconnect the hoses. check to see if there is any buildup of dirt around the connection, where the hoses go on, clean off then reattach the hoses. I have done the same thing years ago when i did not completly clean off the heater connections. I had a leak that eventually started to leak inside the car.
