1993 Ford Ranger

My tuck does not start but turns over. I was told it had to do with a gear in the differential. Will a truck still start with a blown gear in the differential of not? If it does need to be replaced how long will it take? (Approx)

It will start if a bad gear or anything wrong drive train wise.

First thign to do is check for fuel pressure and if you are getting bright blue spark on all cylinders.

Let me know what you find.
