1992 Ford Ranger what can make the heater not work properly

1992 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

The heater in my trucj doesn't work very well. It has been this way for several years. when It is very cold, i can't even get enough heat from it to defrost the windows which has been very problematic at times.

It could be a few things:
*stuck open thermostat
*Low coolant level
*air trapped in system
*clogged heater core
*broken blend door
*bad blend door actuator
