The water pump in my truck had a leak and on my way to the part store my engine shut down, and when I opened it I saw the water pump smoking. It won't start now but it sounds like it wants to. But then I chacked the sparkplug wire and it didn't show a spark. Any ideas what is wrong?

If the pump was leaking bad, check the crank sensor. It may have been saturated with coolant. Let me know what you find.
