Been having trouble getting truck in gear...sometimes had to pump the clutch to get in gear..making lots of grinding noise...clutch fluids get low, but now gets empty...cannot get it in gear at all now...put fluid in it this morning...ran good...7 hours later, fluids still good, but wont get in gear at all...had to push it!
Had a guy look at it...says mabey its the slave cylinder??? It has a 4.0 L...This truck runs like a dream, until now...Please help.. Could the slave cylinder be bad or the entire clutch system?

Hi there,

The clutch hydraulic system has developed a leak, either the master cylinder or more commonly the slave cylinder. With the amount of fluid loss it will not be hard to see what is leaking, replace faulty component and bleed system to restore your clutch to like new.
