hi. the fuel pump on my truck had to be replaced, however now it gets the worst gas mileage. lost over a 100 miles to the tank. took it back to the place i got it done at and they say they can not find anything wrong. when the car first starts up it putters thru 1 and 2 gear and back fires a little like its not getting gas but then just has a burst of power. they said they changed the filter but im not sure if they meant the intank filter or the one on the side rail. what could be causing this problem?

If they retested the fuel pressure and its within specs-could be the throttle position sensor and mass airflow sensor
