1990 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

my truck has an extremley strong gas odor when started its hard to start after the initial start-up with strong odor its fuel injected and they seem to work fine i just can't figure out which sensor is causing problem.

It could be the temp switch, a leaking injector, or a bad fuel pressure regulator. Have you checked fuel pump pressure and pressure drop off?
