1989 Ford Ranger keep kicking out of reverse

just got done replacing clutch and clutch plate and i bleeded it and i tried to put it in gear and i keeps kickout of reverse but it does go in all 5 gear but reverse . does any one know something else out there

Replacing the clutch doesn't hurt the trans, so I would recommend double checking the linkage to the transmission. It sounds like it isn't fully engaging.

Check that and let me know what you find.
