87 Ranger. Transmission (or clutch) makes a clicking sound when it's idle (but not with clutch depressed), and in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Overdrive. Drives fine in 4th. Anyone know if this is definately the transmission needing replaced or could be just a clutch problem?

thanks.
