1985 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I set the timing in my engine and within 5min the timing will retard about 10 to 20 degrees by it's self I reset the timing and it does it all over again

Sounds like your timing chain is getting weak or the distributor gear is wore out
