1985 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Manual 97,000 miles

My truck sometimes likes to shut off when I am coasting in neutral, I believe it is the idle but not sure. How do I know? And if it is the idle, how to I fix it?

Check and test the idle fuel solenoid and the throttle position solenioid
