How do you repair the emergency brake on a 1985 Ford Ranger? The cable snapped off of the E-Brake pedal.

Basically it is replaced like any other brake cable. The only difference is you will need to pull the carpet back a bit to access where it goes through the floor. It will be clipped to the floor pan.
