1984 Ford Ranger stall

when i am driving and i come to a stop it stalls but starts right back up i am not sure what to do im thinkin mabey a carburetor rebuild but not sure if that will fix the problem any ideas??

Check the idle fuel solenoid on back of the Carb and also the EGR valve to include your curb idle speed adjustment
