Engine Mechanical problem
1976 Ford Ranger Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 76 ford ranger, i have the alternatior, and timing and everything i could think of replaced, it still doesnt want to run when cranked. It will run for a little bit then cut off. It acts like its not getting enough fuel or something. What could be the reason of this and how much would it usually cost to fix my problem

Clean out the EGR and PCV valves if okay check the fuel pressure and also inspect the choke plate if its fully opening.
