1972 Ford Ranchero why does the engine hesitate when giving

When I stop and take off the engine seems to loose power, like it stalls or something. What would be the solution to this problem.

When was the last tune-up? Could be a problem with the accelerator pump in the Carb, vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure and ignition components
