1993 ford probe, ticks on idle an gets worse on acc. it has no power. The ticking is very loud .I took the front an rear valve covers off and checked all the lifters an they all seemed to be fine. some people are tellin me it could be a bad injector. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. It doesnt seem to be blown tho

A bad injector making a noise is remote. It sounds like you have a broken piston or a rod pin that is seized.

The 2.5L V6 that you have in your car is known for having cam gear/washers go bad on them, causing a ticking/racheting type noise. But it sounds like something more serious.

Get into a MAzda dealer...Ford hates those cars, and will probably tell you to take it to MAzda
