My daughter and I are both proud owners of 97 Fords. Unfortunately, the repair costs are killing us. So, may I ask, why is it that the o2 sensor codes keep re-appearing on diagnostic computer even though both sensors have supposedly been replaced?

Does the car infact have to be driven 60 miles before being placed on another computer? Or is my mechanic pulling our legs?

never heard that, but either they never changed the o2 sensors or they havent cleared the codes, go to autozone and have them scan the computer, jot down the codes a and bring them back to me. for further diagnosis
