Have paid more than car's worth to find out all it needs is a DPFE/EGR sensor...sent to Michegan for it since dealer wanted 2 1/2X as much...mechanic offered to replace it for $250, but told me I could do it myself, it was under air filter chamber...pulled it all apart, could not find where it should go; got a flashlight when it got dark, searched internet sites for component locations, son got car back together in time to drive to school...my next day off is Thursday an I'm keeping his car, pulling it apart myself to find out where it goes; have found every Ford/Mazda component location guide EXCEPT for '97 Ford Probe, 2.0 4cyl...where is it???!!!
