1995 Ford Probe Engine light comes on off and on & Car

I have had my car for about 18mos now and my check engine light comes on once in awhile I took it to Napa they did a test and said nothing was wrong--should I be worried? Also recently about 1-2mos ago my car started to blow white smoke when it was started the first time of the day--its alot of white smoke but after a few minutes it goes away...what could be wrong?

next tiem light is on i would have the code scaned right away before it goes away, try another place.

with the white smoke it is either a leaky intake manifold gasket causing cylinders to fill up wiht coolant overnight then burn off white the next morning, common occurence in your vehicle manf.

or it could be excessive water in the gas and you should drain the tank, lines, and change the fuel filter.
