1994 Ford Probe speaker replacement

I need to replace the speakers in my sons probe. There are speaker covers in each of the door and rear panels. Can I just remove the covers or do I have to remove the door and rear panels. And if so how do I do that?

The rear speakers are accessible by removing the interior trim. Start at the door foot cover, moving backwards. Fairly straightforward, but make sure you don't miss the quick clip behind the seat belt exit point.
