I have a 1994 Ford Probe and the battery meter on the dash reads normal while driving..but frequently jumps to high very often. I remember reading that you told someone it could be a poor ground connection somewhere but where should I begin checking?

Battery and alternator connections okay-get the alternator load tested-regulator might not be controlling the alternator output.
