Oil leakage from rear valve cover gasket I believe. Leak fills left rear spark plug hole with oil - then drips down to exhaust and smokes terribly. I never worked on this engine before...how much time and difficulty should I plan on to replace valve cover gasket? Can I do without purchasing a manual? Do I need any special tools?
thanks

The hardest part is removing things from on top of the valve cover. Once you do that (mark everything so you remember where it goes). Then it is jus a matter of unbolting the valve cover, clean it. and replace the gasket. I can't think of any special tools you need, but will say if it is that bad, there is a fire hazard. So, it needs fixed.

If you run into trouble, let me know.
