1994 Ford Probe coolant problems

i cant seem to figure out why but my engine keeps overheating, its fine in the beginning but then after about 30 minutes of driving it over heats and i have to stop the car and let it cool. why does it do this?

First thing to do is change your thermostat, very cheap and easy to do.
