I have a 1993 Ford Probe GT (6cyl, 2.5l) in need of a clutch replacement. Eventhough, online, I find clutch kits for the car for an average of $200, I am getting quoted almost $900 to fix it. My question is, is there any reason this job would maybe take several hours flag time? Also, if not, it is simple enough to do myself?
