Engine Performance problem
1993 Ford Probe 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

my friend has a 1993 probe , v6 5 speed
it has been backfireing alot latley
it starts wen it first gets moveing and after 3200rpm it gets really bad
he changed the plugs, distrbutor caps and rotars, and the wires.
he just changed the wires again and the air filter and it is still doing this

i think its either the injectors or the timeing might be off.

BACKFIRES
Check for vacuum leaks.
Check ignition system.
Check engine compression. Check engine mechanical condition. Check intake manifold, manifold gasket, camshaft and valves.
Check for restricted exhaust system.
Check fuel delivery system.
