1992 Ford Probe Ignition Lock Cylinder

1992 Ford Probe 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am trying to replace the ignition lock cylinder and am having trouble finding where the release pin is located, what it looks like and what ia m supposed to do inorder to remove it to install the new one. Any likd of information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the lower instrument cluster cover as follows:
Remove the steering wheel.
Remove the 2 column cover screws and the cover.
Remove the 9 cluster module mounting screws.
Carefully pull the cluster module outward and disconnect the electrical connectors.
Remove the ignition switch illumination bulb and remove the cluster module.
Loosen the 2 cover hinge screws and the 6 upper cluster cover screws. Remove the cover.
Remove the lower cluster cover panel.

If equipped with automatic transaxle, remove the shift-lock cable attaching bolt and disconnect the cable from the lock cylinder housing.
Remove the steering column lower panel and lower plate.
Remove the side register duct.
If equipped, remove the tilt lever through-bolt, tilt lever and attaching nuts. Remove the tilt lever housing attaching bolts and spring.
Disconnect the ignition switch electrical connectors and remove the ignition switch retaining screw.
Remove the retainers from the lock cylinder electrical connector and disconnect the connector from the lock cylinder housing.
Remove the ignition switch from the lock cylinder housing.

To install:

Install the electrical connector into the lock cylinder housing.
Install the electrical connector retainers onto the lock cylinder housing and connector.
Install the ignition switch into the lock cylinder housing and install the retaining screw.
Connect all other ignition switch electrical connectors.
If necessary, install the tilt lever housing attaching bolts and spring, and the tilt lever, through bolt, and attaching nuts.
Install the side register duct. Install the steering column lower plate and lower panel.
If equipped with automatic transaxle, connect the shift-lock cable to the lock cylinder housing and install the bracket attaching bolt.
Install the lower cluster cover panel and the cluster cover.
Install the ignition switch illumination bulb. Connect the electrical connectors and install the cluster module with the attaching screws.
Install the column cover and the steering wheel.
Connect the negative battery cable and check ignition switch operation.
