1992 Ford Probe flashing light

on the left bottom side of my dash, to the right of the dimer for dash lights, I have a red flashing light that wont stop flashing. It also makes a sound like the turn signels. It's a ticking sound. How do I stop this?

this is probably a old alarm system. if you look under the dash you will most likely see a black box thaqt the wires run to. unplug the box and no more alarm.
