how do i reset the neutral switch,car shuts off on drive but not on reverse.

The neutral safety switch has nothing to do with the engine stalling when put on drive-Your problem is coming from somewhere else-

Might want to clean out the idle air control valve, and test the TPS and MAF sensors for a start to include checking the ignition timing.
