1989 Ford Probe charging system

i have a problem somewhere in my charging system. i have replaced the battery and alternator and still not charging. the voltage at the battery when the car is running is only 12.8 volts(when it actually charges) i have checked all fuses and am at a loss for what else i can check. any ideas?

Get the alternator bench tested if its producing the correct output

i had the alternator tested and everything came out good. any other ideas?

Next step is to check the wiring all the way back to the key and charge indicator.

BTW do you have an external voltage regulator?

alright i will have to have fun with the wiring.
and i do not belive so i haven't been able to find one
