1989 Ford Probe attempted R12 conversion

Conversion attempted. Gauge reads 60+ lbs on low side but compressor still wont start. Fuse is good as pulling fuse makes cooling fan and blower stop. Didnt know it would do that but I am sure the circuitry hasnt been altered. What am I missing?

Hi check the low pressure switch, this is mounted on the aluminum tank mounted to your firewall. Bypass this switch with a jumper wire or paper clip. Comp should run if so low on freon or bad switch.
