high idle

my engine idles at 2000 rpm. i adjusted the idol screw and that isnt the problem . could it be a vacumm leak .. or a faulty IAC or egr or pcv please help!!

those have a brass rod at the end of the throttle cable that opens and close air flow. those brass rods sometimes wear especially on stangs because owner are jumping on the gas pedal all the time. Make sure throttle linake and cable are lubricated well, also make sure return spring is at proper tension
