Hi there,

Blue smoke is a fair indication of excessive oil consumption, this can be caused by a number of things, incorrect grade of oil used, diluted oil, poor engine condition rings, valve guides and stem seals. A faulty turbo shaft seal if turbo fitted. How long has the smoke been evident? Is it only when engine started? Is it smoking while you drive? More smoke when you back off the throttle? These can indicate different causes for oil consumption. I hope this helps.
