2010 Other Ford Models filled by wrong fuel

i own a petrol car. last week when i went to the filling station to get some oil in my tank the person over the station has filled my car with diesel instead of petrol.. immediately i have called a local mechanic and got the tank emptied from the base.. now if i run my car will any future engine problems occur..

No, that won't harm anything. I might have recommended replacing the fuel filter also but it should be OK without it as long as you got nearly all of the diesel out.
